FAQs
How to empty and fill the Heatle hot water bottle
In this video, we show you how to empty and fill the hot water bottle
How often and in what cycle must the water in the hot water bottle be replaced?
The hot water bottle does not need to be refilled every time it is heated. This only needs to be done from time to time.
For example, if you use the hot water bottle once a day, it should be emptied and refilled after 2-3 weeks.
In most cases, the information to refill the hot water bottle is also given automatically, either the hot water bottle inflates a little or the heating process is cancelled and the Heatle indicates that the hot water bottle is no longer connected to the Heatle and cancels the heating process, which is a sign that the hot water bottle needs to be refilled.
You can find out how to empty and fill the hot water bottle either in the operating instructions or by watching the video under the question "How to empty and fill the Heatle hot water bottle".
What material is the hot water bottle cover made of and how do I care for it properly?
Our hot water bottle cover is made from a high-quality blend of materials:
50% superfine merino wool, 25% Lenzing™ Lyocell, 25% Nylon (Kaschmirimitat)
This combination unites natural softness, temperature regulation and durability with a luxurious feel reminiscent of cashmere. The cover feels pleasant against the skin, keeps you reliably warm and remains breathable.
Superfine merino wool
Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is considered one of the finest and highest quality types of wool. It is:
- Particularly soft and skin-friendly, does not scratch
- Temperature equalising - warms when cold, cools when warm
- Odour-neutralising and breathable
- Moisture-regulating - absorbs moisture without feeling wet
Despite its softness, merino wool is sensitive to mechanical friction. Pilling can therefore occur, especially with blended fabrics. This is not a quality defect, but a natural process with wool fibres. Nodules can be removed with a lint shaver or by careful treatment by "plucking".
Lenzing™ Lyocell
This environmentally friendly cellulose fibre is obtained from sustainably grown wood. It is:
- As soft as silk, but more robust
- Skin-friendly and hypoallergenic
- Moisture-regulating and biodegradable
Nylon (Kaschmirimitation)
Gives the fabric extra stability and shape retention without compromising the luxurious feel. It provides a pleasant feel similar to cashmere, with better durability.
Care instructions for the cover
To keep the cover looking good for a long time, we recommend the following care:
1.Washing temperature:
Wash on wool cycle or hand wash at max. 30°C.
2. Detergent:
Use pH-neutral, enzyme-free wool detergent - without fabric softener.
3. spinning:
Max. 600 rpm - better still: only squeeze lightly and do not wring.
4. drying:
Do not tumble dry - please air dry flat to preserve the shape and fibres.
5. lint & pilling:
Before the first wash, treat with a lint roller if necessary. In case of pilling: gently remove with a lint shaver.
